These beans are named after Thomas Jackson from Atlanta, GA; they are a unique brown speckled color and are a staple for gardeners and preppers everywhere and these Jackson Hole Bush Lima Beans are the perfect heirloom lima bean for your garden. These seeds grow into very prolific plants. They were so prolific that I had lima beans everywhere.
You can eat them fresh from the garden, can them and don't forget to buy canning lids for your jars or you can let them dry and eat them as dry beans and don't forget to save some dried beans to plant for next year. Beans are one of the easiest vegetables to save seeds from. Be sure to pick these and shell them while the beans are still green. They dry to the brown color for seed saving and can still be eaten as dried beans at this stage.
Although these are bush beans, they may need to have some support added to make it easier to pick the beans.
Each packet comes with 30 seeds.
